Mr. UWIMPUHWE Théogène

Mr. UWIMPUHWE Théogène is a seasoned banking and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in operations, IT systems, and digital transformation within the financial sector. He currently serves as Director of Operations at BK Capital, where he oversees key operational functions and supports strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Prior to this role, he held executive leadership positions at Cogebanque Plc. and Ecobank Rwanda, including Director of Operations Services and Country Head of Operations and Technology. Mr. Uwimpuhwe holds an MBA from the University of the People and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Rwanda. He is fluent in English, French, and Kinyarwanda, and is highly regarded for his expertise in core banking systems, IT governance, and operational excellence.
